Script to Change Last Sync of Checkin Daily at Midnight?

Hi all, I am looking for a script that will automatically update the ‘Last Sync of Checkin’ field of ‘Shift Type’ doctype every day at midnight to run attendance checks. Is this possible in a script or would I need a custom app? If possible, what would work?
