Search for items

Hi,
let’s say I open an Item. Then if I want to search for another item I have to back to item list and then do the search. Why can’t I search for other items when I have an item opened?

Hi @matej.baric,

You can use the awesome bar for searching any Document. Just type search txt in Document,
e.g. If you need to xyz Item type xyz in Item in awesome bar.

Thanks but why do I need to type “xyz in Item” instead of just “xyz” (mind, I already am in another Item type so it is quite logical to assume I want to search for an Item, not an invoice). If doing a lot of searches this way, there is quite a lot of nonsense time-consuming typing “in Item”…
