I hope this message finds you well. I’m currently exploring the best Point of Sale (POS) hardware solutions for small businesses and would like to ask for your recommendations. Specifically, I’m interested in hardware that can integrate seamlessly with ERPNext to ensure smooth operations.
In addition to hardware, I am also looking for software integrations. I have been exploring the possibility of integrating the Helcim Smart Terminal or Stripe Terminal to accept customer credit card payments, with the goal of automatically registering transactions into ERPNext, particularly within the accounting module. If anyone has experience with these integrations or has other recommendations, I would love to hear your insights.
I’ve encountered a few challenges during my search:
- The current Payments app is not functioning properly for payment requests in the
(develop, version-15)branches. As listed here: GitHub Issue #108 - There doesn’t seem to be any built-in integration for POS systems to directly accept payments through ERPNext.
Any suggestions on effective hardware, software integrations, or ways to resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated. Your experiences and insights would be incredibly helpful in guiding my next steps.
