Segregating Leads/Customer according to Customer type

Hi All,

I like to separate the leads/customer of a particular type for different sales user .
Also all the activity related to that customer/leads eg. the customer/Distributor of type Distributor should be visible to
a particular sales team and shuld not be visible by other. I mean all the pricing /delivery and related information for distributor
should be limited to a particular user . Have anyone tried doing this in ErpNext  ? Please share how to do this .
thanks .

Hello Atul,

You can restrict permission of user from Permission Manager option in the Setup module. You will have to set restriction for each master / transaction at a time. Check steps below.

Step 1: Go to Setup >> Permission Manager
Step 2: Select Document (Customer / Sales Order / Delivery Note etc.)
Step 3: Identify the Role for which restriction is to be set.
Step 4: Set Condition by Clicking on button for that role.
Step 5: Select the parameter / criteria (customer group, territory etc.) to set restriction and click on Set Property.
Step 6: Define parameter value for each user from Add Property Option.

With these steps, you will have records in list view visible as per set restriction.

Also check help given in Permission Manager option to learn more on this.
