In a multi-company setup. the usual expected flow would be for a user to select the company in which they want to work immediately they login. The system should then apply User Permissions for that company only. There should also be an option in the Settings menu for the user to switch company. What I’m describing here is very similar to how the POS operates
The current system where a user with permissions for multiple companies sees documents across those companies in the same view is quite chaotic and error-prone. Only reports should have facility to select multiple companies (based on user permission) so that there can be comparisons and consolidated views where applicable
