Selling rate doesn't get pulled automatically

Hi

I have noticed from last few days that when I create quotation or Sales Order the price I have entered for the item in standard price list doesn't get automatically pulled.
Is this a bug, is it intentional or am I doing/understanding something wrong??

Hi Satish,

Can you check if this issue can be replicated in demo.erpnext.com?

Thanks,
Anand.

Thanks. Got the problem.
In my Price List the currency of Price List was not updated hence it did not pull any price but it did not give any error either.

However, while making an entry I realized we could easily make a mistake and give away the product at a lower price.
For example, we are giving the same product to three different customers at three different prices:

Lets say to Party  A   using Price list    X
Party  B   using Price list    Y
Party  C   using Price list    Z

Now by default when I start creating a Sales Order and I select Party A, the default price list is Z.
Could it be possible that when I select Party A, Price list X gets selected automatically.

You can assign default price list in customer master. Then the system will pull the default price list for that customer.
