Sender name of e-mail to use E-mail Account Name rather than ERP User Name?

Hello,

I have two e-mail accounts set up in the system – a generic box ([email protected]) and a more specific e-mail account ([email protected]).

When responding from the generic box, I would like the e-mail reply to read “Generic Box <[email protected]>”. But instead it reads, “User Name<[email protected]>”.

It seems no matter the setting, it is using the first and last name of the ERPNext user.

Is there any way to force the actual field from “Email Account Name” that was used in the account setup?

Perhaps you can try renaming of the Email account name.

Was there ever a solution for this? i.e. emails sent from the system to show as from the account name rather than the user’s name?
