Hi there, in our current setup, patient appointments are scheduled by service unit rather than directly by healthcare practitioner. I would like to configure appointment scheduling for service units with time slots—similar to how it works for healthcare practitioners. Do you have any reference materials or documentation that could guide me through setting this up in Frappe Health version 15?
@akurungadam Hello, I was wondering if you could assist me with this matter.
Excuse me for the delay in responding. We don’t have scheduling for Service Units for now. IMO, you can link a service unit against practitioner schedules which will save the purpose.
And the docs are here.
If I schedule an appointment for a department or service unit instead of a specific practitioner, how can the user (practitioner) view those appointments? Currently, it seems that users can only see patient appointments that are directly assigned to them as practitioners. @akurungadam
The system currently allows scheduling, based on times lots, for Practitioner only.
However, appointments can be booked against Service Unit / Department (without Practitioner) based on the configuration in Appointment Type. No schedule slots can be created, you are allowed to book appointments without any validation.
Its worth exploring, please see if it fits your use case.
If I create a patient appointment schedule for a department or service unit, how can I view the list of those appointments? Currently, when I log in as a practitioner, I only see appointments assigned directly to me. Is there a specific role or permission that allows a user to view all appointments scheduled for a department or service unit? @akurungadam
By default User Permission is set for Users linked to Practitioner, limiting access to logged in Practitioner, please check
