Set New Default Column View for Child Table?

Hello,

Does anyone know where/how to set a different Default set of columns, and their order, for child tables?

I understand that the ability to reorder columns a flexible feature for the end user (Fixing the order of Columns in the child table) but I don’t want to have every user have to rearrange their column view to see the correct columns (including some custom ones) that they need to follow our processes.

I would like to give them a custom Default set, which in turn they could change if they needed to.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Hi @pmjd:

You can configure as default easily, just use “In list view” (or mandatory …) property for each field on child table doctype.
