Is there any possible to hide this drop-down??I want it to be read only.

Edit this doctype and uncheck checkbox “Allow Rename”

Thanks for this Solution,this requires Migration but i don’t want to do migrations…I need to be done via Client Script.

I think you do not need to migrate as this checkbox changes will be automatically taken without migration.
