Shopping Cart (Add to cart even without logging in)

Good day!

I’m having a problem about add to cart. In shopping cart, there is an add to cart button. After button click the customer should be able to add to cart even without logging in. I’m using REST API, by the way.
How to do it?

This is an old requirement, which ecommerce does not have, so it does not work for B2C. Its think be for GitHub - frappe/webshop: Open Source eCommerce Platform.

Is thought to be solved here, as it was in the requirements list of the ecommerce 2.0 project (but currently it is somewhat abandoned it seems).
