I have a question about/issue with the “Shortage Qty” column.
Let’s say for Item A, I have a projected qty of 10 and a reorder level of 0. The shortage qty in this case is (-10). Is this meant to say that I have a surplus of 10?
I understand that in the report it’s (re-order qty - projected qty), but maybe it’s better to have the shortage be zero, since any number in a “shortage” column implies that there’s an issue?
