πŸ“Œ Should POSNext Include an Employee Performance Dashboard?

Hi everyone,

We’re exploring adding an Employee Performance Dashboard inside POSNext to help sales staff track their daily and weekly sales, working hours, invoices handled, and overall performance directly from the POS UI.

Example metrics being considered:

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales
  • Hours worked or shift summary
  • Number of invoices and returns
  • Top selling items and categories

Questions to the community:

  1. Should this be part of POSNext core or a separate app?
  2. Which performance metrics matter most for sales staff?
  3. Should data be visible only to the logged in employee or also to managers?
  4. Would incentive or commission tracking be valuable?
