I created a new user with specific permissions. However that user cannot see the sidebar in Doctypes, so e.g. cannot assign tasks to users.
The sidebar is toggled, the space is there but empty - not showing anything.
Is the sidebar in any doctype linked to user permissions? Or does the problem lie somewhere else?

In the meantime I also found another solution. The role “Translator” also seems to give those options.
You only need to enable it for the role(s) that will be assigned to the user.
These options allow for more control on what you want the user to access additionally apart from general data.
