[SOLVED] Sales Partner vs Sales Person?

Hello,

I’m still confused about these two concepts.

I sell paper lamps. I have a partner architect studio which, sometimes, proposes my lamps to their customers. I currently do not have to give them any commission but I’d like to register in my Sales Order the fact that it came through them.

Should I set them up as a Sales Partner or a Sales Person? And Why?

Hi Nuno,

You can set them up as Sales Partner. Because they are not your employees.

@nununo Add them as Sales Partner and set Commission as 0 and if in future you need to give them commission, you can just add it. You can show them in Sales Order under Commission Section.
