Sorting Lists not working

Hi, I’m trying to sort my list views of different doctypes.
Tried configuring the doctype sorting settings.
Tried configuring the form (as described in the manual).
Nothing seems to work.
Could somebody tell me what the official way is to configure sorting in ERPNext V7?

Also, I saw this new cool button on the top right corner of the list view.
It would be cool if it was a dropdown where we could select the field we want to sort on.

You can do that. Just click on the field.
