Sorting of Document List

Dear Community,

Is there a way to sort by other field than the default in document listing view?

I have set the form as such to list in ascending order of supplier id view.

but it is not sorting.

I know there is a dropdown to “Sort By:”. Any way I can customize that?

supplier_id is not a valid fieldname, you need to enter it from the list of fieldnames for Supplier.
ProTip: See the Name column in the field table for valid fieldnames

Just tested it, Woking fine for me, may be you did not set it properly.
Make sure there is a value in supplier id for all suppliers. And do you see Supplier Id for sorting like in screenshot below

Thank you for your time.

There isn’t any Supplier ID selection and all suppliers have a Supplier ID.
Forms have a fieldname called supplier_id

I am on:
ERPNext: v7.1.15
Frappe Framework: v7.1.15

Try reloading or clearing cache.

We updated bench and app … Clear cache … it is the same
