Special character replaced with HTML intities in User doctype firstname and lastname field

I have a user whose name contains special characters. When I created the user in ERPNext, the special characters in the name appeared as HTML entities. I want to display the user’s name with the special characters correctly. Can anyone help me?"

What version are you on?

When I use an apostrophe in V14 and V15 it displays the ’ not HTML code.
