Split Bundled Product in delivery note

We are service provider to supply & install electronic product, we mainly selling on e-commerce platform.

Our workflow is customer purchase Doorlock with installation on ecommerce platform. Warehouse ship the doorlock to customer, after that local partner go to provide installation service.

We created a items:

  1. Doorlock
  2. Installation Service
  3. Doorlock with installtion service( Bundle Product ) - same SKU with the ecommerce platform

Expected behavior:
When warehouse ship out the doorlock, we expect to create a delivery note contain Doorlock only, and after the local partner provided installation service then we create delivery note of installation service.

then Sales Order is complete delivery.

In actual:
When warehouse ship out the doorlock , we unable create delivery note that only contain doorlock for the sales order which contain item Doorlock with installtion service( Bundle Product ).

We don’t like to split into two item in sales order.

We have a similar issue with a slightly different situation.

We sell bundles of 2 or more products for a discounted price.
Item#1 - QTY=1 - Color #1
Item#2 - QTY=1 - Color #2

Sometimes we have customers return a single item from the bundle. Instead of letting us make a return delivery note for Item#1 - QTY=1 - Color #1, we have to make a delivery note for
Item#1 - QTY=.5 - Color #1
Item#1 - QTY=.5 - Color #2

This obviously doesn’t work.

Is there a work around or fix to this issue that anyone is aware of? Ther eare many times that this issue arises with returns or color changes.
