Hi, I am running into an issue setting up e-mail and was wondering if anyone had some insight on this.
We would like to avoid sharing e-mail passwords and so are trying to use the “Await Password” feature, where an admin can create the e-mail-account putting in all the technical details and then the user will be prompted on log in to enter their password.
There are two problems we are encountering:
Users lacking broad system-wide permissions to edit e-mail accounts are blocked by the permission system from actually committing the entered password, and are thus unable to complete the setup.
Users with those broad permissions are re-prompted after having already completed the setup, and when they enter their password again, the prompt gets stuck on verifying it and never finishes.
Is there something we are missing? Is this feature currently functioning?
