Hi, employee has applied for leave. Manager has received leave request, but Status button where leaver approver selects Approved, Rejected is greyed out.
I checked Role Permissions manager, Leave Approver has all permissions. What could be the reason?
@anilpoda field status has a different permission level ‘1’ . in the role permission manager for leave approver click add new . select leave application , then change the level to 1 . then find the new added permission and select write permission .
You need to mark the Status of Application as Approved or Rejected in the Leave Application.
But the Status field has Permission of Level 1, and Leave Approver has an additional Permission on Leave Application with Level 1, so he can change the Status of Leave Application.
As per the image your the default Level 1 Permission is missing for the Leave Approver.
give him lvl 1 read and write permission it will work

I actually provided leave approver level 1 permission.
The actual issue is by default all Employees have been given Employee role. Now I have also added leave approver role. Then, I am able to use Status field.
