Stock ledger

Hello All,

  1)  One of our Client makes “Stock Entry” of items.
  2)  After stock entry He creates delivery note of stock items.
  3) In stock Ledger report the quantity displays negative.
      Should he first create “Stock Reconciliation” for those items before stock entry in order to display positive quantity in stock ledger?

Gangadhar,

Negative value in Stock Ledger report means quantity was issued / transferred / delivered from that warehouse. For example, when you transfer 10 quantity of item X from Warehouse A to Warehouse B, stock ledger entries created will be:

Warehouse A Item X - 10

Warehouse B Item X 10

Encountered Same Issue, Stock Balance Report Shows Positive but in Stock Ledger Report shows Negative Quantity.
