Subcontracting Receipt Accounting Ledger

Hello experts.

I want to confirm the accounting ledger that generated during the Subcontract Receipts.
Here’s what I found:

Dr Inventory-Finished Goods/WIP 300
Cr Inventory-Raw Material/Subcontract WH 200
Cr COGS 100

my question:
is the usage of COGS in the journal above correct or not?
because our finance user doesn’t agree with the emergence of COGS in the journal, and she thinks it should be using another account from the balance sheet.

can someone enlighten me regarding this matter?
