Submit_on_creation has no effect

My understanding was that the field submit_on_creation set to 1 allows purchase orders created through REST API, but it has no effect. What could be the right way to submit PO from REST?

Try, “docstatus”: 1 in input JSON with method type as POST.

My issues were solved by adding docstatus = 1 the request in the rest API and the document is now submitting and post to accounts.
