Successfully Installed ERPNext with pwd.yml, But Only Login Page Appears

Hi everyone,

I downloaded the pwd.yml Docker Compose file to set up Frappe/ERPNext. The installation went smoothly, and all the containers are running without any issues.

When I open my browser and go to http://localhost:8080, the login page appears as expected. However, after logging in, I don’t see any links or options that take me to the main dashboard or settings page where I can start configuring ERPNext. It seems like I’m stuck on the login page without access to any actual functionality.

Has anyone faced this issue before?

  • Do I need to initialize or configure anything else after the initial setup?
  • Are there any logs or settings I should check to resolve this?

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Where was the pwd.yml downloaded from?
Did you get dialogues to set up user and company on first use?

this was the link in its most basic form that I followed and it worked perfectly till I got stuck in the aforementioned problem.

Apologies, but I didn’t read the README file either. Why?
Because this isn’t my first time installing these containers—I’ve used them before without any issues.
However, this time, I encountered a problem.

That said, thank you. I logged out of the user I had created via the command line, followed your suggestions, and it worked perfectly.
