I have noticed that if we want to send an email of say a
Quotation ,Sales Order, Delivery Note then in the Email field there is
option to search for email ids, basically this is suggestive search.
Now I have 2 suggestions regarding the same:
Searching from Email becomes tedious as I can’t expect a person to
remember the email ids of customers.
Another point is that in Email search there is only option to
search from customers, but I think sometime (in our case most of the
times) these docs are emailed to Sales Reps or other people in the
company whose email id is not searchable in the email box. Therefore I
would suggest that the email ids can be searched from within all email
ids saved.
We can automatically create a contact when the email id is not present in existing Contacts and an email is sent for the first time. Will put it in the to-do list! -
