Why is there no supplier groups , i see them for customers but not for suppliers . They play a very important role in our business . We need to be able to categorize suppliers too so that someone who is new can easily understand it .

There is Supplier type in the Buying module which is similar to that of the Group in the customer.
its not the same as supplier group . they are simple category , we cannot group it
