Table Multiselect not saving after refresh

i added a table multiselect field in my childtableas below

and checked in_list_view for the field in the childtable mentioned in the table multiselect field

but still the data is not persisting after refreshing the page

i tried the solutions mentioned in similiar posts but it wont work

this only seems to happen if the table multiselect field is used in a childtable

is this the reason it isnt working?
