For a sales invoice i want to apply tax to most products, but shipping is not subject to tax … any way can i tell the software either a certain product is subject to tax or not, or manually do it in orders/invoices ?
You can use the tax field in item master to supersede the general tax rate. E.g. if general tax rate is 10% and item A is zero rated then u can add 0% in tax field of item A.
