A confidential U.S.-based property-technology group is hiring a Senior ERPNext/Frappe Implementation Engineer for a full-time remote position.

Location: India only
Work arrangement: Fully remote, full-time and exclusive
Compensation: ₹10–15 LPA gross, depending on demonstrated experience
Engagement: Employment through an Employer of Record
Experience: Approximately 4–8 years in Frappe/ERPNext implementation and development

The role

You will help strengthen and extend a production ERPNext/Frappe environment used for accounting, property operations, payments, compliance, reporting and internal governance.

This is not a general web-development position. The work requires practical ERPNext implementation experience, sound accounting judgment and disciplined production practices.

Core responsibilities

  • Build and maintain custom Frappe applications and DocTypes.

  • Configure and extend ERPNext accounting workflows.

  • Work with Payment Entry, bank reconciliation, receivables, recurring billing and financial reporting.

  • Design upgrade-safe solutions using native ERPNext/Frappe capabilities wherever practical.

  • Create tested migrations, patches and rollback procedures.

  • Diagnose production issues without editing ERPNext core.

  • Document architecture, decisions, configurations and operating procedures.

  • Work through issues, branches, pull requests, reviews and staging before production deployment.

Required experience

  • Strong Python, JavaScript and Frappe Framework experience.

  • Substantial hands-on ERPNext implementation experience.

  • Working knowledge of ERPNext accounting and financial controls.

  • MariaDB/MySQL, Git, REST APIs and Linux/Bench experience.

  • Ability to write automated tests and review existing code.

  • Clear written English and reliable technical documentation.

  • Residence in India.

  • Availability for approximately 3–4 hours of overlap with the U.S. Eastern morning.

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates may be offered a paid technical work sample worth US$500 or the INR equivalent. The exercise will test reasoning, accounting integrity, implementation quality, testing and documentation—not unpaid production work.
