Tracking Item Costs

I am stumped on how to add outside production costs to an item. Currently we buy aluminum sheets, we’ve entered a formula (area) as a percentage of the aluminum sheet which is the base cost of each part. But the part doesn’t reflect the fee for cutting, bending, welding and painting. How to I add those outside costs to the final processed part. I’ve also set up the same part in each stage of manufacturing since we sometimes have inventory of those.

@Fabbers if you are using BOMs, have you added operations in your BOM?
