I am manufacturing a part that involves multiple stamping operations. I have a Work Order to produce 100 units.
- I create a Work Order with operations 1, 2, 3, etc.
- I start the Work Order, which generates corresponding Job Cards.
- The operator completes stamping for Operation 1 on all 100 units.
- In-process quality inspection is conducted, where a sample of parts is inspected.
- If any defects are found, those parts are scrapped.
How can I accurately track this partial quality acceptance (with some units scrapped) within the Job Card?
Currently, reducing the completed quantity in the Job Card doesn’t fully reflect the scenario where raw material is consumed for all 100 units, but only a portion is accepted.
Is there a mechanism within ERPNext to address this issue?
