I have being using the translation tool within ERPNext to rename a few things that don’t quite fit US English and it has been working great except for one. I would like to replace Cheque with Check. I have created the translation like I did all the others (see screenshot below) and done a reload to clear caches, but Cheque still is used everywhere. Anyone else tried to translate cheque with success? Any suggestions?
I figured out the problem and am posting for anyone else who was looking for this answer too. Just trying to translate Cheque by itself won’t work. Need to call out each phrase. So when I created these three translation entries:
Cheque Print Template → Check Print Template
Cheque/Reference No → Check/Reference No
Cheque/Reference Date → Check/Reference Date
I got the desired results I wanted.
