I am trying to setup a Chart of Account in 2 languages (English + Vietnamese). However, I do not manage to understand how the translation works.
I tried to change the field account_name and make it “translatable” and then I tried to play around with custom translations but I do not mage to make it work. The documentation on custom translations is not that helpful and I do not understand if it only applies to printing documents.
What I would like to achieve is. Whenever I select Vietnamese as language then the Account Name is translated to Vietnamese and Ideally I specify the translation via custom translations.
As alternative I am considering to add a custom field with Account Name (VN) but I feel it is just a workaround while there is probably a more robust solution.
