Building on that success, ERPGulf has now started work on UAE and Oman E-Invoicing apps.
The project will be fully open source and built as a regular Frappe app, without relying on any third-party applications or components.
For the UAE, there is one key challenge: the tax authority does not allow e-invoices to be submitted directly from the client server (unlike Saudi and Malaysia). To address this, we are working with approved partners who already have authorization. Their APIs will be integrated into our app, and discussions with multiple providers are already underway. Your suggestions and recommendations on this are very welcome. Let’s keep the solution provider-independent.
Anyone interested in contributing or collaborating is welcome—please post in this group. Let’s take this forward together.
Also, @Husna has joined as the Product Manager for this project. She has previously worked on the Saudi and Malaysia implementations and knows a thing or two about e-invoicing in this space.
As an Omani company, we love to be part of the Oman E-invoicing, and we have a good relationship here in Oman with the government, so we are also happy to check with them for any regulations.

Our first major push for UAE E-Invoicing for ERPNext is here ( GitHub link in the comment ) . This project is 100% open source, following the tremendous success of our Saudi and Malaysia implementations.
We are sharing the repository now for developers to comment and contribute. While it is currently too early for end-users, we will be releasing full documentation and video presentations in the coming days
