I was trying to add a new numbering series to a transaction but somehow this option is not available in Setup ---> Update Numbering Series. Since when I select the transaction then there is no option to add or remove the series. Kindly please let me know how to add and remove the numbering series from a transaction as I think there has been some changes made to the same after the recent updates.

On selecting the Select Transaction dropdown, you get a text box where you enter the series. I am not able to replicate this issue.
When did you last update ERPNext?
Can you also look at the javascript console and see if there are any errors?

Yesterday I was not getting that text box but today the text box is coming surprising but it solves the problem and my question.
