I recently added employees into our ERPNext system and on the projects screen I have been able to assign them timesheets, however I am not able to assign them tasks from the task screen. What do I need to do to be able to assign them tasks?
When assigning a task, the “Assign To” field requires a User account, not just an Employee record.
Go to Settings > Users, create a user account for each employee, then link that user in the Employee record under the “User ID” field. After that, they will appear in the task assignment list.
