Unable to Cancel Purchase Invoice

I’m using the latest release while I’m unable to cancel Purchase Invoice that is linked to a canceled Asset. What’s the solution?

It should have cancelled normally. Try to delete the asset and then cancel the purchase invoice

The asset is canceled but I’m unable to delete that.

Could you please share a screenshot of the error message when trying to cancel the purchase receipt and when trying to delete the asset?

This is the message, when I delete a cancelled asset:

You must have cancel GL Entry first. it will not let you delete. Then Delete Asset.

How to delete GL Entry because there is no option:

Cannot delete or cancel because Sales Invoice JMVW50/000007 is linked with GL Entry GL0308656

All GL has referenced in Item Movement Transaction ie Receipt, Delivery. it show in Stock Ledger Report. Once it cancelled then Stock Leger filters out entry that has is_cancelled Once All GL are cancelled then it (Sales Delivery, Purchase Receipt) will let you delete.

GL Entry has only option for cancel. you can not delete it. cancel your asset then it will show you ref doc no. go through this ref then cancel it until asset get cancelled.
