Unable to submit leave application after upgrading to v7

Hi,

I upgraded ERPNext to Version 7. Now, I am getting an error when trying to submit a leave application. A message appears that says ‘password not found. you have been logged out’.

Please help.

The issue is now fixed. The problem was with SMTP authentication in the email notification settings. It was set with no password as it was using the local server’s email server. Looks like version 7 needs to have SMTP password in place. I switched the mail server to mailgun with email id and password for SMTP and all is working fine now.
