Unassembled and Reverse Manufacturing Processes in ERPNext

A manufacturing company produces motor that is assembled from multiple sub-components. Occasionally, these motor need to be disassembled due to many reasons so we need process of disassembling a finished product into its individual components.

This process should reverse the assembly entries and adjust the inventory accordingly.

Could you please guide us on how to proceed with these processes in ERPNext?

User Repack option as stock entry type with specific assembly BOM Number. two purposes

  1. it helps in disassembly and add back the components to respective warehouse or stores.

  2. Move rejected components to MRB or scrap store.
