In v12, it seems that the UOM conversion factor is no longer editable in each transaction (e.g. in sales order).
Consider this scenario:
- we buy an item in UOM Nos but sell it in UOM Sqm.
- the conversion between Sqm - Nos in this case always varies depending on the dimensions of the item
- earlier we would stock the item in Nos but sell it in Sqm by editing the conversion factor in the sales order
- we are no longer able to do this since the conversion factor is now defined at the UOM level instead
- as a workaround, we have created duplicates of these items with stock UOM as Sqm which isn’t ideal
Am I missing something?
