When making stock reconciliation entries on the “Stock Reconciliation” Doctype,
We add the items along with its quantity in the table, which we need to reconcile.
Now in the table, along with the item code and quantity, we would also expect the “UOM” or “Stock UOM” column to be present in the table (preferably the latter). This obviously helps the user to know that they are entering the right quantity numbers.
Example of mess up can be, stock UOM being Kilogram and entering values in Grams thinking that Stock UOM is in Grams
I am still wondering why is such a basic requirement missing in the table. Is this deliberate or a bug that has evaded up for a long time.
Would be great if someone can shed some light on this, like how you have gotten around this and reconciled your stock.
I have tried to quick fix this, but the Stock Reconciliation Doctype is a Read Only and not a quick fix. But i feel this is a bug and needs to be fixed at a product level.
If this is a genuine bug, then I will get around and file a bug for the same.
