User access control on staff users - read only view

Hi,

So I have staff who will login and enter customer data and invoice / quotation details. Now once they enter the details I dont want them to be able to view the data entered or edit it .

Is this possible to have them only responsible for entering data?

Hi Aditya,

For setting up permissions, read this http://erpnext.org/docs.user.setup.permissions.html

Why not use one of the fields (that you don't use) that are included in the perm manager conditions as a restriction? Give it a default value and hide the field. But don't give your staff access to that field value under perm manager conditions. This way, new records entered have this default value entered, but once saved/submitted, it can no longer be read by the same staff.

Haven't tried myself though, but logic seems right.
