User level access for Issues


I would like user-based access to the Issues in ERPNext helpdesk.
Let’s say, if user Tom has logged in, then only issues created by Tom should be visible.

Please let me know whether it is possible and if so, how do I achieve this.

On the portal (website user), only the issues created by the user are visible by default. However, if you want a system user to view only issues created by him, then in Role Permissions Manager, for the issue doctype, select the “Only if Creator” checkbox.

I set the Role Permissions as mentioned by you and it works fine. How do I manage permissions for the issues visibility to the assigned person.
Suppose, Tom has been assigned the ticket and when Tom logs in, all the issues assigned to him should be visible. Could you help me with this.

Tom would get Notifications in the notification area :slight_smile:
