User permission for Point of Sales only

Hello, I want to give my user permission for Point of Sales. As he is in the Sales department.

  • Now I allowed him permission for Selling module but this dint inherit POS
  • Then I allowed him for Stock as well as I thought there would be dependencies between the two modules. This did not work as well.

*Then I tried to create user permission and allowed him for POS profile in the user permissions and created a new set of permissions for him.

All three of the above failed. What I intend to do:

  1. I want to create a user who would be an employee of the company who can access the Point of Sales when he logs in. Remaining functionalities such as his territory and the other details such as item group can be managed while creating the new POS.

This is what I intend to do. Any suggestions on how can I achieve this?
