We are creating a Proprietary E Commerce SaaS. We would like to integrate ERPNext for maintaining the accounts and the ledgers of our customers and our merchants. The users would not be directly communicating with ERPNext as of now, but rather only with our application. Is it possible to use self hosted ERPNext for this? Would we trigger the GPL License protection under which we’ll need to open source our codebase? We know about the SaaS loophole, but rather than just the Legal aspects, We would appreciate if a core team member could tell their stance, as we want to follow the Spirit of the agreement.
