Using Payroll Entry with account type "Payable"


I am trying to use the new Payroll Entry to submit salary slips, but when I do I get the following error:

Row 12: Party Type and Party is required for Receivable / Payable account Payroll Payable - KC

I can go into my account settings and set my “Payroll Payable - KC” account to an empty type, but then the journal entry doesn’t break the liability down into different components for each employee. Is there a better way to do this?


Did you selected party type in payment entry? Seems you’re doing wrong entry, can you share the steps to replicate the issue
