V16 How to add Workspaces? Not showing up or getting errors

I am playing around with the new V16 and creating a custom App. I created a Workspace in the workspace page, was able to create it successfully but it doesn’t show up on the Desk or the new Sidebar. Then tried creating the workspace through the UI, and it generates an error of .name not found.

Is there a way to create the workspace via code so I can continue with my app development?
