uncheck include holidays within leaves

As per our leave policy, weekends and official holidays (such as Eid) should not be deducted from an employee’s annual leave balance when they fall within a requested leave period.

An employee submitted a leave request from March 20 to April 19, during which the approved Eid holiday (March 30 to April 4) overlapped. Since these 6 days are designated as official leave, they should not count toward the employee’s annual entitlement. However, the system initially deducted the full period, including Eid.

Action Requested:
Kindly adjust the employee’s leave balance by crediting back 6 days to compensate for the Eid overlap. Please confirm once the correction has been processed.

For clarity:

Total leave requested: March 20 – April 19 (31 days)

Eid holiday (non-deductible): March 30 – April 4 (6 days)

Net leave to be deducted: 25 days (31 − 6)
