After the items purchased the Warehouse is not updated with the purchased quantity.
I think you have not checked Maintain stock checkbox which is available in the Item master. Ensure to keep this option checked when creating a stock Item. screenshot is attached for your reference.
What if the item is fixed asset?
See if this option is checked for the item:
If not, then you’ll get a message on submitting the Receipt that says Asset not created.
You can manually create the Asset from the Purchase Receipt, or create a new one from Asset list and selecting the Receipt.

But am stack on Purchase Receipt for Items that Is Fixed Asset checked
